COME EXPERIENCE QUANDAMOOKA CULTURE

Quandamooka Coast offer cultural experiences for educational and corporate groups including talks or workshops. Activities in your package can be customised with the booking team. Activities include artefact talks, boomerang throwing, dot painting, start fire with sticks or learning a tribal song and dance.

The Quandamooka Coast team can help to book a local Aboriginal Dance Group, Song Man and Didgeridoo player. The bookings team can also help organise the Welcome to Country or smoking ceremony for your next event on country.

Quandamooka Festival


The annual Quandamooka Festival, held from June to August, in the coastal region East of Brisbane is a great opportunity to become immersed in one of the oldest living cultures on earth. Experience the continuing culture of the Nughi, Nunukul and Goenpul clans of Quandamooka, first-hand.

Aboriginal Dance Workshop for Education Groups


Stories weave the fabric of Aboriginal culture. To understand the dance, you must first listen to the story it represents, then you will see it performed. Your group will be shown the movements of the dance starting with the footwork and finishing with the arm and hand movements. You will also learn about the symbolic meaning behind the different dance movements.
